On appeal, other skills come into play. Our partners have considerable experience before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (the "CAFC") and other appellate courts throughout the U.S. We also have "behind the bench" experience that tells us how decisions are made at the appellate level through clerkships at the United States Supreme Court, the CAFC, and the Court of Federal Claims. The location of our Washington, D.C. office, near the nation's two highest IP courts, facilitates our appellate practice.
